SAN DIEGO (May 28, 2013) – To further increase ease of integration of its flagship product Intelligent Notification (IN®), with established IT service management (ITSM) systems, MIR3, Inc., the innovator of real-time and response technology, today announced it has integrated run book automation (RBA) technology from Ayehu, developer of eyeShare™, a lightweight, enterprise-grade product for IT process automation, creating a unique software solution known as RBA Integrator.

RBA Integrator is a run book automation tool that aids in adding notification technology to existing applications, making it easy to send and receive automated alerts. RBA Integrator uses run book automation to integrate notification technology with existing applications seamlessly, allowing two-way communications between applications and any or all on-call personnel. When a recipient responds to an alert, the system recognizes them and allows them to initiate an action with their response, i.e., restart a server or execute other commands. RBA Integrator provides data processing and workflow logic so users can fine-tune the interactions between applications and notification to communicate more effectively.

Prior to implementing eyeShare, Omer’s team was being bogged down by time consuming manual script writing. They were also struggling to keep up with managing incidents in an efficient and accurate manner. They started by automating notifications and escalations via SMS and email messages to the relevant on call, according to alert priorities aligned with the organization’s policy.
