The sky is the limit: workflows that automate the provisioning of virtual meeting accounts, new activities that fetch secure credentials from vaults, or even automated workflows to streamline compliance reporting required by health regulations – these are just some of the ideas that are ripe for automation.

October 6 – October 8, 2020

This Hackathon is a virtual event. You will develop your workflows and activities from your work or home office, during the event.

The event will run from October 6th to 8th – all development work must be completed and submitted during that time period.

You may use an NG instance licensed to you or your organization for this purpose, or one of the trial versions provided by Ayehu:

A 30-day trial version is available here

And a Cloud-hosted instance which requires no installation is available here.

(Note: the Cloud-hosted version is more limited in terms of development capabilities so the 30-day trial version is preferred)

About the event

Even before the COVID-19 virus began to spread , enterprises were increasingly allowing employees to work form home. The pandemic has made this into a requirement, and it looks like work-from -home will be with us for the foreseeable future

As the world moves to a work-from-anywhere setting, the demands on IT operations are going to increase- more remote support request, more remote access needs – while at the same time fewer IT staff will be on site to support them. This challenge can be addressed with Automation  – and this is your chance to be a part of the change!

During this hackathon, you will develop automated workflows or activities that will enable the future of work from home a reality – and the sky is the limit: workflows that automate the provisioning of virtual meeting accounts, new activities that fetch secure credentials from vaults, or even automated workflows to streamline compliance reporting required by health regulations – these are just some of the ideas that are ripe for automation

replacing human workers, but freeing up staff to work on new projects,
instead of day to day routine work”
