Internal processes may have been improved significantly, but if these improvements don’t translate to the customer, it’s not a true victory.

In order to get the most out of ITSM, people must begin to shift their view from strictly internal to also include external benefit. The easiest way to do this is to simply drop the “IT” from ITSM and replace it with automation.
